Time Change, Fall Back

Along with the changing colors, falling leaves, and rain, autumn brings the "fall back" part of Daylight Savings Time. At 2:00am on Sunday morning, the time goes back one hour. This means an extra hour of sleep, or for those who prefer, one more hour to add to their evening.

How many hours are spent changing clocks in the following days and weeks? Here is a quick list of the clocks we'll have to change:
  • Two wrist watches
  • Two alarm clocks
  • Guest bedroom clock
  • Living room wall clock
  • Coffee machine
  • Microwave
  • Range
  • Toaster Oven
  • Two cell phones
  • Two vehicle radio clocks
That's a lot of switching that needs to be done twice a year.

And to all you working people, get ready for getting up in the dark, and driving home in the dark!
